Black Pansy

Sow Indoors: Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost in a seed-starting mix. Press the seeds into the soil surface lightly and avoid covering them, as they need light to germinate.

Germination: Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of 65–70°F (18–21°C). Germination usually takes 10–14 days.

Transplant: Once the seedlings have a few sets of leaves and the outdoor temperature is above freezing, harden off the plants and transplant them to the garden, spacing them about 6–8 inches apart.

Sunlight and Care: Plant in full sun or partial shade with well-drained soil. Water regularly, but make sure the soil is not waterlogged.

Black Pansies have rich, deep colors and are perfect for adding contrast to flower beds or containers.
