African Marigold ‘Sierra Mix’ is a colorful annual marigold grown for its attractive flowers in warm yellow, golden and orange shades. Tagetes erecta generally prefers full sun and moderately fertile, well-drained soil.

In the Gulf, Sierra Mix is best grown during the milder part of the year. Very high temperatures can temporarily slow marigold growth and flowering, so avoiding the peak summer heat is important.

🌿 How to Sow the Seeds

1. Choose a sunny location with good drainage.

3. Sow the seeds approximately 0.5–0.7 cm deep. Direct-sowing guidance for marigolds commonly recommends about ¼ inch (0.6 cm).
4. Cover lightly with fine soil.

7. Seeds generally germinate in about 4–7 days at approximately 24–27°C.
8. Once seedlings have several true leaves, thin or transplant them.
