2000 seeds
Angel Wings is a striking ornamental foliage plant grown for its large, velvety silver-white leaves. It is highly valued for borders, containers, and landscape planting. Most commercial 'Angel Wings' plants are patented cultivars and are usually propagated from cuttings rather than seed, so seedlings may not grow true to the parent plant. If you have Angel Wings seeds, the following instructions will help you germinate them.
Best Planting Time
- October to February (recommended)
- Best growth occurs during the cool season in the Gulf.
- Avoid sowing during the hottest summer months.

Use light, fertile, well-drained soil.
Recommended mix:

- Transplant seedlings when they have 3–4 true leaves.
Temperature & Light
- Ideal germination temperature: 18–22°C
- Ideal growing temperature: 15–28°C
- Requires 4–6 hours of direct morning sunlight or bright filtered light.
- In the Gulf, provide afternoon shade to protect the silvery foliage.
Watering
- Keep the soil lightly moist during germination.
- After establishment, water when the top 3–4 cm of soil becomes dry.
- Avoid excessive watering, as the plant is sensitive to root rot.
Germination Time
- 10–21 days
Plant Spacing
- 40–60 cm between plants.
Growth & Maintenance
- Remove damaged or old leaves regularly.
- Plants develop into compact mounds of attractive silver foliage.

Fertilization
- Mix compost into the soil before planting.
- Apply a balanced fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during active growth.
- Avoid excessive nitrogen, which can reduce the dense, compact habit.
Gulf Climate Tips
- Grow during the cool season.
- Protect from intense afternoon sun, especially in late spring.
- Ensure excellent drainage.
- Water early in the morning.
- Monitor for aphids, mealybugs, spider mites, and root rot caused by overwatering.
