Sow Indoors: Start seeds 4–6 weeks before the last frost in a seed-starting mix. Sprinkle the seeds on the soil surface and lightly press them in. Do not cover them, as they need light to germinate.

Germination: Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of 65–70°F (18–21°C). Germination usually takes 7–14 days.

Transplant: Once seedlings are large enough to handle, and the frost risk has passed, harden off and transplant them to your garden, spacing 8–12 inches apart.

Sunlight and Care: Plant in full sun or partial shade. Keep the soil moist, and mulch to help retain moisture.
