How to Seed Balloon Flower Blue (Platycodon grandiflorus)

1. Sow indoors in spring (March–April), or outdoors after frost has passed.

2. Use well-drained, fertile soil in full sun or partial shade.

3. Sow seeds on the surface and press lightly — do not cover deeply, they need light to germinate.

4. Keep soil moist but not soggy.

5. Germination takes 14–21 days at 18–22 °C.

6. Transplant seedlings outdoors when strong, spacing 25–30 cm apart.
