-
Sowing Time:
Sow indoors from February to April, or directly outdoors after the last frost in late spring (April–May). -
Sowing Depth:
Scatter the seeds on the surface of moist soil and press them lightly — do not cover them, as light helps with germination. -

Place the seeds in a bright, warm spot with a temperature around 18–22 °C (65–72 °F). -
Germination Time:
Seeds usually germinate within 10–20 days under warm, bright conditions. -
Transplanting:
When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them carefully into pots or the garden, spacing 25–30 cm apart. -
Growing Tips:
-
Choose a sunny position for best color and growth.
-
Water regularly, especially during dry periods, but avoid overwatering.
-
Remove faded flower spikes to encourage new blooms.
-
“Blue Monday” produces vibrant blue-purple bracts that make it a stunning ornamental for borders and bouquets.
