• Time to Seed:

  • Best sown during the cooler season in the Gulf: October to February.

• Growing Medium:

  • Use a fine, moisture-retentive yet well-drained mix: sand + perlite + peat or sphagnum moss. Slightly acidic conditions are preferred.

• Seeding Method:

  • Sprinkle seeds on the surface of the medium; do not cover them.

  • Keep the medium constantly moist, never dry or waterlogged.

• Temperature & Humidity:

  • Ideal temperature: 14–22°C.

  • High humidity (70–85%) is essential; a humidity dome or cool enclosed area helps in the Gulf climate.

• Light:

  • Bright indirect light or light shade. Avoid direct sun and heat.

• Watering:

  • Use gentle misting or bottom watering with cool, clean water. Do not allow the medium to dry out.

• Transplanting:

  • When seedlings reach 2–3 cm, transplant carefully into individual containers using the same cool, moist growing mix.
