• Time to Seed:

  • Best sown during the cool season in the Gulf: October to February.

• Growing Medium:

  • Use a fine, well-drained but moisture-retentive mix: sand + perlite + peat or sphagnum moss. Slightly acidic soil is preferred.

• Seeding Method:

  • Scatter seeds on the surface of the medium; do not cover them.

  • Keep the medium constantly moist but never waterlogged.

• Temperature & Humidity:

  • Ideal temperature: 15–22°C.

  • High humidity (70–85%) is essential; use a humidity dome if needed.

• Light:

  • Bright indirect light or light shade. Avoid direct sunlight, especially during warm days.

• Watering:

  • Use gentle misting or bottom watering with cool, clean water. Avoid drying out.

• Transplanting:

  • When seedlings reach 2–3 cm, transplant carefully into individual containers with the same moist, well-drained mix.
