Double Giant Dahlia is a spectacular flowering dahlia grown from tubers and valued for its very large, full double flowers. Depending on the variety, flowers may appear in shades such as pink, red, yellow, orange, white, purple or burgundy.

The plants can become quite large and produce impressive flowers, making them excellent for garden beds, borders and large containers. Dahlias prefer moderate temperatures and are best grown in the Gulf during the cooler part of the year.

🌿 How to Plant the Tubers

1. Choose firm, healthy dahlia tubers with no signs of rot.
2. Use loose, fertile and very well-draining soil.
3. Plant the tuber horizontally with the crown and growing eyes facing upward.
4. Cover with approximately 5–10 cm of soil.
5. Water lightly after planting.
6. Keep the soil lightly moist, but never continuously wet.
7. As the shoots emerge, gradually add soil around the plant if necessary.

Important: Do not plant the tuber too deeply, especially in warm Gulf soil, because excessive moisture around the crown can encourage rot.
