Easter Egg Radish is a colorful radish mix that produces round roots in shades of white, pink, red, purple, and other attractive colors. Radishes prefer cool conditions, so in the Gulf they should be grown mainly during the cooler months.

🌱 Best Growing Season

• Best sowing time: October–February.
• In cooler Gulf areas, sowing can also be done in September and March.
• Avoid: Late spring and summer, when high temperatures can cause poor root development and make radishes hot, woody, or prone to bolting.
• Ideal growing temperature: 10–21°C.

🌿 Seed Sowing

1. Choose a location with loose, fertile, well-draining soil.
2. Sow seeds directly into the final growing location; radishes do not transplant well.
3. Plant seeds approximately 0.5–1.5 cm deep.
4. Space seeds about 2–5 cm apart.
5. Leave approximately 15–30 cm between rows.
6. Water gently immediately after sowing.
7. Keep the soil evenly moist during germination and root development.

• Fertilizing: Mix compost into the soil before planting. Avoid excessive nitrogen, which can encourage leaves rather than root development.
• Keep the growing area weed-free so young radishes do not compete for nutrients and water.

• Easter Egg Radishes are generally ready to harvest approximately 25–35 days after sowing, depending on growing conditions.
• Harvest when roots reach a desirable size and are still firm and tender.
• Pull or lift the roots gently from the soil.
• Harvest promptly because mature radishes can become pithy, woody, or overly spicy if left too long in warm conditions.
