Growing Medium
For seedlings and mature plants, use a loose, moisture-retentive orchid mix consisting of:
- Medium orchid bark
- Sphagnum moss
- Perlite
- Charcoal (optional)
Note: Mature Stanhopea plants are best grown in hanging baskets, as flower spikes emerge downward through the basket.
