• Time to Seed:

  • Best sown during the cooler season in the Gulf: October to March.

• Growing Medium:

  • Use a well-draining orchid mix: fine orchid bark + perlite + sphagnum moss. Slightly acidic is preferred.

• Seeding Method:

  • Sprinkle seeds on the surface of the medium. Do not bury them (orchid seeds need light and air).

  • Keep the medium evenly moist, not wet.

• Temperature & Humidity:

  • Ideal temperature: 20–28°C.

  • High humidity (60–80%) is essential; use a humidity dome or frequent misting.

• Light:

  • Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, especially in the Gulf climate.

• Watering:

  • Mist gently to keep moisture without waterlogging. Ensure good air circulation.

• Transplanting:

  • When seedlings reach 2–3 cm, move them carefully into small pots with orchid mix.
