• Sterilization: Sowing must be done in a highly sterile environment (flask culture) using an agar medium like 1/2 MS or Knudson C to prevent fungal contamination.
• Light: Provide bright, indirect light. In the Gulf, avoid direct afternoon sun; filtered morning sunlight is ideal.
• Temperature: It thrives in warm to hot temperatures (21–35°C), but during the extreme Gulf summer (exceeding 40°C), it should be kept indoors in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Humidity: Requires high humidity (50–70%). Use humidity trays or humidifiers to counter dry indoor air-conditioning.
• Watering: Water frequently during active growth, ensuring the roots dry slightly between waterings to prevent rot.
• Potting: Best grown in wooden baskets or mounted on bark with excellent air circulation, as it is a monopodial epiphyte.
